Prof.V.V.HARA GOPAL, former HOD and Chairman Board of Studies, Department of Statistics from Osmania University is a dynamic expertise in managing operations together in Academics and Research and currently associated with Centre for Quantitative Methods as Deputy Director.

He is a Statistical Consultant to Optima sierra Atlantic, IRB member – AXIS PHARMA and “SPSS Inc” (Statistical Package for Social Science). Previously he held a President position at the A.P.Society for Mathematical Sciences as well as Statistical Consultant to various government and non-government projects.

He has over 52 journal publications including IJRCM, ANU Journal of Physical Sciences, Bulletin of Mathematical Sciences & Applications, IJCSI, International worldwide Textile Journal (Germany), Research Journal of Textile and Apparel (Hong Kong), International e-Journal of Mathematics and Engineering, GJMS, IJASS, IJMR, IJMSEA. Currently, he is the executive editor to Journal of A.P.Society for Mathematical Sciences, International Journal of Agricultural and Statistical Sciences (IJASS), Telugu Academy and Former Associate Editor to Assam statistical Review, Dibrugarh University.

He has rich proficiency in SPSS, MATLAB, STATISTICA, MATHEMATICA , MINITAB, TORA and FORTRAN 77 Programming and has concentrated his research on developing Multivariate Data Analysis, Operations Research, Pattern Recognition, Image Processing and Group testing.
